Ride for the River is a cycling event that will begin from Pottstown Riverfront Park and take place on the Schuylkill River Trail Saturday (Sept. 28, 2024). Riders will finish at the park then head to Sly Fox Brewery in Pottstown for the free musical festival that day.
There will be reserved parking at Sly Fox for ride participants. We need volunteers stationed at this lot near Sly Fox (Mcooney Building 313 parking lot) to help direct ride participants to the lot and ensure no one else uses the lot. Volunteers are needed to help with parking at Sly Fox from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Volunteers receive free Ride for the River T-shirt as well as a food and beer/beverage ticket to use at the Can Jam Music Festival at Sly Fox (Pottstown) the day of the event. Please list your T-shirt size in the "Response Questions" section after you click the sign up button for this opportunity.
The week before the Ride, there will be chance for Volunteers to stop by our office (140 College Dr. Pottstown) to pick up materials needed for volunteer tasks and to ask questions. If you are not able to swing by the office the week of the Ride, materials and guidance will be available morning of between 7:30-9am.
