Hello again volunteers,
It's that time of the year again where we need to go down the trail and trim branches and bushes that have grown over the summer into the trail corridor. For the firsts couple of events, we will be traveling from the Grosstown Rd Trailhead west towards the Union Meadows Trailhead and then readjust as trail sections are completed.
We are trying to get the trail corridor back to a minimum 14' in height (higher if possible) and back to 16' wide when possible. Currently, there are trees and bushes that have grown from outside and above the trail corridor and have taken up the empty space the trail provides creating issues for trail users.
Basic tools will be provided but if special equipment is required by a volunteer, it is the responsibility of the volunteer to provide this. Gloves and safety glasses will be provided if needed or wanted. Everyone who intends to participate in the event will be required to fill out waiver required before the day of the event. If you are not able to fill out the waiver online some will be provided the day of the event.
