Extreme weather has put a toll on the trails through Berks County and we need to fix them to ensure everyone can enjoy the SRT and so that the issues presented do not get worse.
For this event, volunteers will help SRG staff to spread, move, level, and compact trail surface material (ASHTO #10) through Robeson township in Gibraltar all the way to Charlie Marshal and beyond depending on how fast we are moving. Volunteers will help SRG staff identify problem areas that need extra help and will ensure quality trail repair.
Basic tools will be provided but if special equipment is required by a volunteer, it is the responsibility of the volunteer to provide this. Gloves and safety glasses will be provided if needed or wanted. Everyone who intends to participate in the event will be required to fill out the waiver required before the day of the event. If you are not able to fill out the waiver online, some will be provided the day of the event.
