SRG is proud to partner with Fork and Ale in this trail event!
Fork and Ale has adopted a section of the SRT from Union Meadows Parking Area to the Whitiker Bridge for several years. In those years Fork and Ale has worked hard to maintain this there adopted section and the time has come again to complete the necessary tasks again.
In this event we SRG will be working with Fork and Ale to clean their section once again by trimming overgrown vegetation. After the event has ended on the trail volunteers are invited back to Fork and Ale to enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages, with age-appropriate volunteers being given a free beer.
Basic hand tools and gloves will be provided by SRG and will be on site the day of the event! If a volunteer requires special equipment to participate in the event it will be the responsibility of the volunteer to provide that for themselves. All volunteers will be required to fill out SRG's waiver before the event begins. If you are unable to fill out the waiver online before the event paper copies will be filled out on the day of the event. Please dress appropriately for the weather as it may be cooler given this spring seasons unpredictability.
