For this event we are starting a bit later for everyone who would like to attend our volunteer events on the weekends or during the weekdays but cannot make it!
We will be clearing fencing of vines, cutting back vegetation, and removing invasive species whenever possible. This section of trail is very active for walkers and members of local community, so it is important to keep this section open. This being a shorter event will mean that work will be more relaxed, and volunteers should expect to be back to their vehicles by 7pm.
Basic tools will be provided but if special equipment is required by a volunteer, it is the responsibility of the volunteer to provide this. Gloves and safety glasses will be provided if needed. Everyone who intends to participate in the event will be required to fill out the waiver required before the day of the event. If you are not able to fill out the waiver online, some will be provided the day of the event. No power tools are expected to be needed for this event and volunteers should expect to use hand tools such as loppers and handsaws only.
