Ride for the River is an annual cycling event from Royersford to Betzwood and Fricks Lock, and takes place on the Schuylkill River Trail on Saturday, Sept, 20th. We need volunteers to help ride with the participants and help if there are any bike issues (flats, popped chains, etc.). The volunteers for the ride support will need to register on Bike Reg with a comp code given by a staff member and will need to check in at Royersford Trestle Bridge by 7am.

The week before the Ride, there will be chance for Volunteers to stop by our office (140 College Dr. Pottstown) on Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 4-6pm to pick up materials needed for volunteer tasks and to ask questions. If you are not able to swing by the office the week of the Ride, materials and guidance will be available at check in.

**New Route and Starting/Finishing Location**

Ride for the River is an annual cycling event that begins in Royersford at the Trestle Bridge and takes place on   Saturday, Sept. 20 2025 at Royersford Trestle Bridge. 

SRG needs volunteers to help with road crossings on the SRT that are on the route for the Ride from Fricks Lock Trail Head to Betzwood Park Trail Head. This road crossing support will be at Filmore Street in Phoenixville and will be partnered with an SRG Trails Staff Member for the entirety of the Ride. Volunteers can report directly to the road crossing and check in with staff day of. There is not parking close to the road crossing but is available at Mowere Trail Head or Cromby Trail head.

SRG needs volunteers to help with Cromby Hill water stop to hand out snacks and water to riders after they climb Cromby Hill. Volunteers will NOT need to bring items to the water stop but does require walking/biking to get to the water stop via Cromby Trailhead or Mowere Trailhead.

Ride for the River is an annual cycling event that begins in Royersford at the Trestle Bridge and takes place on the Schuylkill River Trail. We need help with registering riders the morning of the event on Saturday, Sept. 20 2025 at Royersford Trestle Bridge (155 Railroad Plaza, Royersford).

Volunteers will help setup registration tables then help check people in for the event. You'll hand out T-shirts ordered, food/drink vouchers, ride cue sheets, bands for their bike, etc.
