We are heading north!
This event will begin at the Kernsville Recreation Area (25 Kernsville Dam Road, Hamburg PA, 19526) where a variety of tasks will be completed including general trail and area improvements. Because of the popularity of the trail head, it is very important to keep this area looking as good as it can be. Spring is here and all the plants are growing quickly, volunteers will be asked to trim trail and remove invasive species from the trail edges.
Food will be provided and will act as a break from work and will be served around noon. Food will include water as a beverage, and various types of pizza severed near the entrance of the trail section. Basic tools will be provided but if special equipment is required by a volunteer, it is the responsibility of the volunteer to provide this. Gloves and safety glasses will be provided if needed or wanted.
Everyone who intends to participate in the event will be required to fill out waiver required before the day of the event. If you are not able to fill out the waiver online some will be provided the day of the event.
