Hello all,
For this event we will be trimming the trail of some overgrown bushes and trees that are impacting trail users and equipment that SRG needs get onto the trail to preform maintenance and upgrades. For example, the trail behind Victor Emmanual's has long been rough so we are looking to get the trail surface paved by the end of October to early November. The low branches and overgrown vegetation mean we cannot get the proper equipment in to perform this task, so we are looking to change that.
Basic tools will be provided but if special equipment is required by a volunteer, it is the responsibility of the volunteer to provide this. Gloves and safety glasses will be provided if needed or wanted. Everyone who intends to participate in the event will be required to fill out waiver required before the day of the event. If you are not able to fill out the waiver online some will be provided the day of the event.
