SRHA Invasive Species Certification

The Schuylkill River Greenways works to connect individuals to Schuylkill River. This is done through the development of the Schuylkill River Trail and through programming along the river itself. 

This program aims to look at the issues present around the heritage area and how they relate invasive species through a certification process. In this program individuals will be able to learn what an invasive species is, what they can do to an environment, and finally participants will be taught how to identify some of the most common invasive species found within the heritage area. 

To become certified, individuals will need to complete a classroom session, a field id session, and a basic quiz testing your knowledge of what was discussed.
